Shady Charm is an artist based out of Venice CA, writing tunes for self-deprecating individuals, authentic existentialists, and beach bums. In that order. Originally from Philly, Shady Charm writes about the experience of personal conflicts and desires based off of west coast dreams. Focusing on the sound of 60's psychedelic music, guitar is the center point of most of their upcoming releases, with trippy reverse guitars, fuzzed out amps, and the occasional synth. With influences ranging from The Kinks, The Strokes, to Tame Impala, Shady Charm blends modern indie pop with the vintage charm of artists and bands from the 60's and 70's.
